This Privacy Policy describes how Mate Gelei-Szego (“I”, “me”, or “the publisher”) handles personal data in connection with the skills-only plugins published from the mgelei/gpt-skills repository (the “Skills”).

Summary

The Skills are instruction files that run within a compatible AI assistant or coding agent. They do not include an MCP server, publisher-operated backend, user account system, analytics, telemetry, or advertising. Installing or using the Skills does not send prompts, files, outputs, or account information to me.

Data processed when you use the Skills

Depending on the task you request and the permissions you grant, the AI platform may use the Skills to work with information available in your environment, including:

  • prompts and other content you provide;
  • files, repositories, and project information you make available;
  • public web sources; and
  • information from third-party services or connectors you separately authorize.

This processing is performed by the AI platform provider and, where you choose to use them, the relevant third-party services. I do not receive this information through the Skills. The AI platform provider’s and those third parties’ own privacy terms govern their processing.

The Skills are designed to make actions permission-aware. You control the information and services made available to the AI platform and can decline requested access or actions.

Personal data I collect

I collect no personal data through the Skills themselves. In particular, the Skills do not transmit to me or store on my behalf:

  • prompts or conversation history;
  • uploaded or local files;
  • generated responses or artifacts;
  • account, authentication, or connector information; or
  • usage analytics, device identifiers, or telemetry.

Because I do not collect personal data through the Skills, I do not use such data for analytics, advertising, profiling, model training, or any other purpose, and no legal basis for publisher-side processing through the Skills is required.

If you contact me directly, I process the information you choose to provide only to respond to your message, handle support, protect the Skills and their users, or comply with legal obligations. The applicable legal basis is my legitimate interest in providing and securing the Skills, taking steps at your request, or compliance with law, as appropriate.

Recipients and sharing

I do not sell, rent, or share personal data collected through the Skills because I do not receive such data. Information you provide directly when requesting support may be processed by the communication or hosting provider you use to contact me and disclosed when required by law.

Retention

I retain no prompts, files, outputs, or usage records from the Skills. Information sent directly in a support request is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain an appropriate record, or meet legal obligations, and is then deleted or anonymized.

Files or conversation content retained by the AI platform, your local environment, or an authorized third-party service are controlled by you and the relevant provider, not by me.

International transfers

The Skills do not transfer personal data to me. The AI platform provider and any third-party services you authorize may process data in other countries under their own privacy terms and transfer safeguards.

Your choices and rights

You decide whether to install or use the Skills and what files, repositories, connectors, and permissions to make available. You can stop using or uninstall the Skills at any time and manage or delete information through the controls provided by the AI platform, your local environment, or the relevant third-party service.

Where applicable law grants you rights over personal data you have sent directly to me, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability by contacting me. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

The Skills are not directed to children under 13. Do not use them in a way that violates the age requirements or other terms of the AI platform through which they are provided.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy when the Skills, publication requirements, or applicable law change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
